The Churchill Junior Choir is a group of grade 7 to 9 students from Collège Churchill High School in Winnipeg. We take songs we like, and make them work for our particular group, adding harmony and instrument parts as we are able. Rehearsals often look really chaotic as we experiment with different ideas, but somehow it all works out. These kids are truly amazing and very dedicated! The choir room is a place we come to feel safe, loved, and empowered. We eat lunch together, laugh together, and sometimes get around to actually rehearsing. Working with this awesome group is truly a highlight of my week! Oh, and did I mention we practice in the old Auto Shop. We are a true Garage Band!
